Becoming an Educator

As an Odyssey Nail Systems Educator you are a direct reflection of Odyssey Nail Systems. We are extremely proud to be selective in whom we chose to become an Educator. You are part of a TEAM of professionals who are devoted to education and the overall success of our industry. Your overall attitude and professionalism makes you and Odyssey Nail Systems proud.

REQUIREMENTS TO BE AN ODYSSEY NAIL SYSTEMS EDUCATOR

Current nail technicians who are working and possess a minimum of two years experience using Odyssey Nail Systems product ranges.

Must hold ALL Class certification, Licensing/National Vocational Qualifications in Nail Services is beneficial but not essential, but must have intentions of working towards this within 3 months of joining the team.

Be prepared to invest in additional teaching technique training (unless a Certificate of Education/Teaching or proof of underpinning knowledge for Learning and Development has been taken in the past 2 years and is approved by Odyssey Nail Systems.)

Supply copies of Industry insurance, certificates/diplomas and a professional photograph

Supply a copy of your profile, industry achievements and goals

Score an average greater than 70% on the practical, presentational evaluation and written exam.

Possess strong presentational skills and understanding of the products.

Have a confident self image

Have excellent communication and people skills

Have a strong desire toward professional growth of the industry

Be self-disciplined with organizational skills

Be reliable, trust worthy and responsible.

Have scheduling flexibility to meet the needs of Odyssey Nail Systems Nail Systems

Be a TEAM player

Update certification every two years

Submit CPD (continual personal development) information on a yearly basis

Be prepared to attend meetings and trainings throughout the year to maintain standards and follow requirements of Odyssey Nail Systems Nail Systems

To visibly and actively promote yourself as an Odyssey Nail Systems Educator and business in your allocated area

An active Educator must complete a minimum of 12 training events in a 12 month period. This must include approx 3 classes of each system, consisting of a minimum of 4 students per class (Demo/Promotional evenings/Trade shows excluded).
